Here is Shane Hipps, former co-teaching pastor with Rob Bell at Mars Hill in Grand Rapids, blowing winds of false doctrine designed to make you believe in universalism rather than Biblical Christianity.
The Holy Spirit warned us about men like Shane Hipps in Ephesians 4:10–16 which says:
“He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”
Here is a montage of Emergents, Progressives, Liberals talking about the eschaton. Since these folks deny the inerrancy, inspiration and authority of the scriptures, this video is filled with nothing but mind bogglingly obtuse theobable.
The question that is supposedly being answered is "What Does God's Future Mean for Our Present?"
Notice how NONE of these answers are grounded in scripture!!

For Contrast...here's how the Apostle Peter answers the exact same question asked in this video. Says Peter:
“This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.
And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now” (2 Peter 3:1–18)
We find the Apostle Peter's answer to be so much more helpful and realistic. Don't You?
The nation's largest Lutheran denomination (the ELCA) said Friday that gay and lesbian clergy who are in monogamous, committed relationships can be called to serve as pastors and church leaders in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Make no mistake about it, the ELCA's vote to lift the ban on homosexual clergy is nothing less than outright rebellion against God and His word.
Yet God's word could not be clearer.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Pray that God would grant the ELCA repentance for their rebellion. Even now, God is offering His forgiveness for this egregious collective sin.
Despite all of our deep doctrinal differences with the Roman Catholic Church we give them props for following the scriptures and limiting ordination to men and disciplining rebellious women such as the one featured in the video below.

This prayer, offered by unrepentantly homosexual Episcopal bishop Gene Robinson, was given at one of the opening inaugural events for Barack Obama and begins with the words, "O God of our many understandings, we pray that you will…"
This 'god' is an idol and a demon. This 'god' is powerless to answer and save and worshiping and following this demon 'god' will land people in hell.
The video below features "Pastor" Ed Bacon on one of Oprah's spirituality shows claiming that being Gay is a Gift from God. There are plenty of problems with this statement coming from a supposed 'Christian' pastor. Let's list a few.
1. There is NOT ONE ONE verse in the Bible that says that being gay is a gift from God.
2. There are plenty of passages that say that homosexuality is an abomination that merits God's present and eternal punishment.
Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
Romans 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

The bottom line is that in order to believe that homosexuality is a gift from God you have to rationalize and explain away every passage of scripture that clearly says it is a sin and an abomination and instead believe something that the Bible NEVER says.
People who say and believe things like this "are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity." (Eph 4:18-19)
The tragedy is that Christ died for homosexual sins as well as heterosexual sins. Christ is offering homosexuals a full and complete pardon and forgiveness for their sins. As the Lord said, "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord GOD, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?" (Ezek. 18:23) But, when satanic lies like this do their work the homosexual doesn't see himself as a wicked sinner in need of Christ's forgiveness for his homosexual sins but instead is given a false sense of hope and pride believing that homosexuality is a gift from God. When a person believes this lie, Satan has done his work by making his victim comfortable while they snub and pay no attention to God's coming judgement. Unfortunately, when Christ returns the homosexual who fell for this lie will not hear "well done thou good and faithful servant." Instead, they will hear the most terrifying words any human could ever hear from Jesus Christ, "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."
