With Todd Bentley being rapidly restored to 'ministry' after the news of his inappropriate relationship abruptly ended the so-called Lakeland Revival in scandal, it's time to ask if the so-called healings that Bentley performed were real.
In the current issue of World Mag, Warren Cole Smith is reporting that some people that Bentley had proclaimed as having received miraculous healing from God died shortly after their visits to Lakeland. This is even more damning proof that shows that Bentley is a false prophet, a fraud and a dangerous con-artist.
Christopher Fogle, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, loved to fish. It was a break from his fast-paced, 25-year career with the Perkins Restaurant chain.
But when Fogle got severe cancer, his relaxing fishing trips, which he sometimes took with his children, ended. It was a devastating blow for the active 45-year-old. But for Todd Bentley, television preacher and self-proclaimed healer, the cancer represented an opportunity to "proclaim the glory of God."...
At the height of what many called a revival, WORLD asked Bentley to talk about the healings, like Fogle's, and asked for a list of people who had been healed at the services. His associates told me Bentley was out of the country and a list could not be produced. But six weeks and more than a dozen requests later, the ministry eventually sent a list of 13 names. Fogle was No. 12 on the list, along with this note: "Healed through the Outpouring and is back to fishing."
That was on Aug. 8, 2008. There was just one problem. Two weeks earlier, on July 22, Christopher A. Fogle—according to his obituary in the Keokuk (Iowa) Daily Gate City, "left this life . . . after a courageous battle with cancer."
A review of the list nearly one year later reveals that Fogle is not the only person "healed" who is now dead. When I called Phyllis Mills, of Trinity, N.C., on April 22, to hear the testimony of her healing, a polite family member said, "Phyllis passed away a few days ago. In fact, we're on our way to her funeral now."
Mills, 66 at the time of her death, had lung cancer and was undergoing aggressive treatments when she was, according to the list, "healed at the revival." Mills "was taking radiation, but was sent home," according to notes on Bentley's list, with "no trace of cancer in her body."
The incoming pastor of Riverside Church broke his silence over his massive pay package Saturday, saying God was behind him as he took the reins of the iconic Manhattan sanctuary.
"God told me all week, 'I got you.'" the Rev. Brad Braxton said to thunderous applause.
Braxton was installed as senior pastor despite some parishioners filing a lawsuit to trim his $600,000 in salary and perks.
The minister, a former professor at Vanderbilt University Divinity School, ascended to the pulpit to cheers from the congregation of 2,700.
Braxton, 40, tackled the controversy over his compensation, saying critics were "mistaking molehills for mountains."

There are many things wrong with event that this video records.
1. Notice that Dutch Sheets is NOT opening the word of God and preaching from the scriptures. Instead, he is preaching on a supposed dream that he had. When did dreams get promoted to 'scriptural' status? Why should we believe that the "jesus" in Dutch's dreams is the real Jesus?" (we can't think of any reasons).
2. Then Rick Pino breaks out into a rousing rendition of 'Mess Us Up In Your Presence Oh God". (see if you can spot the golden calf)
Here's how we see it. The more unbelievable the claim is that is being made, the more solid the evidence needs to be in order to prove the claim. This video shows Todd Bentley claiming that the 'outpouring' in Lakeland had produced 13 resurrections.
Notice that in the beginning minutes he makes references to the Nightline news crew that was coming to report on the 'outpouring'. Bentley sounds excited that they were coming and makes it sound like he was going to provide proof to support the claims of healing and resurrection. Instead, the Nightline story emphatically claimed that there was no evidence provided to support or prove that even one healing had taken place.
There are a bunch of folks sending us inflammatory emails and leaving comments taking the Museum of Idolatry to task because they want Todd Bentley's "Florida Outpouring" to be real (but it isn't). We've provided the Biblical proof that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bentley fails the Biblical tests for a prophet and now the SECULAR media has confirmed that Bentley's 'healing show' is not legit and there is not one confirmed healing, NOT ONE CONFIRMED MIRACLE.
Wake up church! Bentley is a false prophet and a charlatan.

Apparently "God" isn't interested in the church hearing about Jesus any more. Todd Bentley claims that God wants people to believe in the angel named "winds of change" that supposedly visited Bentley at the beginning of the Lakeland "revival".
Bentley's 'god' told him, "Todd, you’ve got to get people to believe in the angel”
Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
1 Cor. 2:1 And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. 2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
Todd Bentley's defenders have been sending us emails claiming that the Lakeland "Revival" is not about the money. We beg to differ. All you have to do is visit Todd Bentley's 'Fresh Fire' website and you'll see that they are fishing for money. In fact, the site says "Sow Seed Into Revival Now!" [Seed is a Word Faith euphemism that means MONEY]
Since, when does God need money for revival? How on earth can anyone with a conscience make the claim that if you send them money that God would turn that into revival? We thought the Bible said that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. God is loaded. Why would God make revival contingent upon you sending money to Todd Bentley?
The Lakeland Healing "Revival" is in full tilt BUT Todd Bentley is a false prophet. How do we know? We know this because the Bible is clear that a true Prophet of God is always 100% correct. God doesn't grade Prophets on the curve. Either God is speaking to you or He isn't. Here is the Biblical test of a prophet:
Deut. 18:21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the LORD has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.
Below is a video that provides us with IRREFUTABLE proof that Bentley is a FALSE PROPHET. Pay close attention to how accurate his 'readings' are. Remember a true Prophet of the One True God MUST, according to the scriptures, be 100% accurate.
By the way, what is the Old Testament punishment for false prophets in the Kingdom of Israel? Here is what the scriptures say:
Deut. 18:20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’
People need to heed the warnings of scripture.
