Here is Linn Winters of Cornerstone explaining his dream to the folks in his Church that the world would know we are Christians by how much better our sex is. The name of the sermon series was "Greatest Sex Ever."
We hate to ask, but how exactly are Christians supposed to demonstrate these superior skills to their unsaved friends?
Truth be told, we never considered sex to be an evangelistic "selling point" until now...
This certainly is a strange 'praise and worship song' to be singing in a "Christian" church. We thought that praise and worship songs were supposed to be about Jesus, but in today's narcissistic self-help centers, like Ignite "church" in Joplin, MO it makes sense to sing a praise song like this.
Here's a teaching on that important "Christian" doctrine of the carrot and donut. This ought to give you an idea as to what kind of 'church', Ignite is...
Apparently, "pastor" Miles McPherson believes we all have a lot that we could learn from an unrepentant porn king.
"He's not a Christian, he's living a sinful life in people's eyes and his lifestyle is contrary to the Bible but still, we're obligated to love him," said McPherson. Despite all of these things that Biblically prohibit Ron Jeremy from speaking in Church, McPhereson invited him anyway so that he can "share" some things this Sunday, during church. The rest of the story can be read here.
The Seeker-Driven obsession with sex sermons has finally reached the frozen tundra of Alaska (Don't fault them for taking this long to catch up. They're about 8 years behind the rest of the world).
The video below is for the "I Think Sex Is?" sermon series from Alliance Christian Fellowship, Eagle River, Alaska. But, don't worry, they're attempting to be as relevant as the first Seeker-Driven Leaders who pioneered these types of sermons back in 2004. They're following the template perfectly and have already built a website for the occasion at IThinkSexIs.com. They've even sent out a sexually offensive postcard mailer to all of their neighbors inviting them to hear these sex sermons.
Wow. How original and innovative!! <<<----That's sarcasm.
