Rather than doing their job of preaching and teaching sound Biblical doctrine and making mature Christian disciples that are so thoroughly grounded in the scriptures that they won't be blown here and there by every wind of false doctrine, the folks over at Oak Leaf Church have instead decided to use sex to "sell" their church and draw a large crowd.
There's only one BIG problem.
The Bible doesn't promise that Christians will have "Storybook Sex".
Christianity isn't primarily about making your life on earth better. For many Christians, repenting of their sins and trusting in Christ alone for their salvation costs them their marriage.
Anyone who "decides to become a Christian" in order to spice up things in the bedroom probably isn't even a Christian to begin with. Jesus wasn't calling out in the wilderness, "come to me all who are bored with your sex life and I will give you storybook sex." Instead, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow him (Matt 16:24)
“For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.” (Romans 16:18)
