I had a relative over the weekend that was going to give each of my daughters a chocolate crucifix and I stopped them and took them aside. I told them this is bizarre and not pleasing to the Lord. I told them would you give kids a chocolate electric chair or hangman's noose? What type of message are trying to send my kids? Their reply was we know how much you despise Easter bunny stuff and this was the only "Christian" item we could find in the Easter section of the store. I told them you can return to them to store or throw them away but I'm not letting my kids have them. Let's say this relative avoided me like I had the plague for the rest of the day.

scripture candy?? no no no Ephesians 1 is scripture candy, Romans 3 is scripture candy, John 3 is scripture candy...this?? this is just a temporary, tasty, fattening candy disguised with God's word and a cross...get the REAL honey tasting stuff in Gods WORD not food..

Mrs. Pilgrim, crack me up--God-shaped whole? That's hilarious. I think I like the "Testamints" that I see at the Christian book store more that the chocolate cross. Yikes.
