Yes,
Evolved you are so smart and we Christians are so dumb. You are so elite, how can we ever match your vast untapped intelligence. You believe that something as simple as a clothes pin had to be created by an intelligent mind, but the human body which is the most complicated and amazing thing on this planet is merely a product of mindless processes. Advanced apes like yourself say that High School kids will not be able to compete in the future global market if they don't have a firm understanding of evolution, yet the average high school graduate can't even explain the basic elements of the theory. I will continue to believe in God and you can continue to believe in Genetic Mutations that have never done anything but manipulate pre-existing characteristics.

It's worthy of note that it's Christians pointing these things out. Apparently we're not all stupid.
Next time, you might do some actual thinking before commenting, "Evolved," instead of spouting openly ignorant dogma.
And keep in mind: You're more likely to convince someone of something by argument, rather than browbeating them into superficial agreement. Of course, I realize that Christians are thousands of years ahead of you evolutionists on that concept, but even you may someday learn.

Evolved, that leaves only one question. When are you going to place your order?
Posted by: Jay Hawk | March 22, 2008 at 04:43 PM
I believe one theologian once said that if all the supposed pieces of the true cross were gathered together, we could rebuild the true ark with them.

Jay: Dude, calm down. There's some truth to what he's saying.
There are people who call themselves "Christian" who are dumb enough to buy this stuff.
That's rather the whole point of the little leaven museum. It's talking about "church folk" - not the world.

All lies have a little bit of the truth. Look at his statement again, he is not calling the consumers of this product stupid. He is calling the entire market segment stupid and that would refer to all Christians. Since his name is "evolved" I imagine his intellectual superiority comes from the fact that he thinks his theory of evolution is true, thus I said what I said. There is truth that this kind of stuff sells to people who are less discerning, but his statement went well beyond those parameters.
From one Dude to Another.

Yeah, I see your point. He's making a kind of "pot calling the kettle black" comparison.

"Since his name is "evolved" I imagine his intellectual superiority comes from the fact that he thinks his theory of evolution is true"
Some people need to go back to remedial science class.

Evolved,
Believe me, I need to do no such thing. I know your game. You say that because micro evolution has occurred then obviously macro evolution has occurred as well. That is an extreme extrapolation. You say look at these small changes within a species (changes of pre-existing characteristics), and if you close your eyes and wish real hard then that means we evolved from a bunch of rain water that fell on the rocky earthe billions of years ago. I don't care how smart a scientist is, there is no way that he/she can know what happened billions of years ago. They have to assume "Cerabas Perrabas" which is latin for all things constant. They have to assume that nothing sped up or slowed down a process. This applies to carbon dating. Going back to remedial science would just give me the basics of a theory, just a theory not law. Many scientists (not Christian ones) are starting to questions many aspects of evolution. Many evolutionist can be quoted as saying that the main reason that they aspouse evolution isn't because of evidence, but because the alternative that their is a God is unbelievable to them. So, Evolved, think for yourself and don't buy into a man made theory just because you are told to do so. You know there are many political and social reasons why people want to push evolution, remember evolution was foundational to Communism. Yes, I know there is a little bit of truth to evolution, but way more lies. Evolution is like finding a one dolloar bill in your wallet then assuming that you must have a million more when you have no reason to believe that. The only occurences of evolution that you can show me are micro. Can you explain to me how the first cell formed by chance? Now remember the cell is very complex and the first cell needed all of the modern day parts. Have you ever seen a dog produce anything other than a dog? Why would we just be looking for fossils for missing links? We would still see them alive today - how convenient they are all dead. How did male and female compatibility evolve? Also, look at the fact that if things evolved then this amazing and bountiful food supply evolved by chance as well. I think you need to go back to remedial logic. You look at a paper clip and you think design; this thing had a creator. You look at your self and yout think blind chance. I mean what are the odds, a large life sustaining planet forms by chance and then life happens to form on the planet - and once again by chance. People will follow evolution because it is "science" and that is all they need to hear, I am assuming that is your camp.

Forget it Jay, "evolved" is currently operating under the premise saying it louder makes it truer

Evolved, I just checked out your blog, for as long as I could before the profanity and hatred began to make me physically ill. I hope that you have more to do with your life than spew that hatred, which obviously consumes you. I'll be praying for you, friend. In the meantime, you really don't make any point to the existence of God by attacking people's faith in Him. He doesn't need you to believe in His existence to exist. You just haven't found Him yet, but I hope that someday you do.

And by the way, Evolved, remedial "science" class is exactly where the evolution brainwashing begins. It's where you swallow the first lie that makes it easier to believe the whoppers.

theory - "a proposed explanation whose status is still conjectural, in contrast to well-established propositions that are regarded as reporting matters of actual fact."
Time spent in remedial science class won't change the fact that it's still conjecture. Believe what you will but let's not pretend that this is established scientific fact.

Evolved, I submit that a different group of "some people" need to go back to remedial English-composition class--because your "response" is, to all appearances, a complete non sequitur.
Learn to write more clearly. Vague insults don't accomplish anything--except to make the more literate laugh at you.

Evolved,
Instead of calling us stupid, prove to us that we are wrong. It's a simple challenge.

I know that I’m late but here goes…
It would see to me that Evolved has forgotten a basic principal of science: to find truth through fact and exclude falsehood. Is it possible that our friend, Evolved, should return to a “remedial” science class? I believe this is true. I have read Hawkin and Gould and others, they have proved, among other things, that their intellect has not rescued them from believing idiocy – evolution. (Gould was an intelligent man, but we know where is at present time). I noticed your last post on your web-site, and, may I say, God is not mocked. Repent of this sin or die eternal death. Sir that is fact. I judge no man, but will retaliate against evil. You sir, regardless of your education, are a fool like your co-evolutionists. Here is the only truth that will stand thru eternity:
Psalm 14
1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
