"How it might have happened."

Okay, so the Nativity MIGHT have had Mary, Joseph, and the Magi "gettin' served" by a full-grown Jesus and a posse of angels?

Right. And the dinosaurs MIGHT have gone extinct because they saw a Pauly Shore movie.

Well, all I have to say is that it was a big waste of time, effort, and money. That was sick.

Well, I guess the positive thing is that Virgin mobile actually recognized that Christmas is Jesus' birthday!

"Well, I guess the positive thing is that Virgin mobile actually recognized that Christmas is Jesus' birthday!"

Except that it isn't.

Can't say I'm offended as much as confused. I don't get it. Was the most idiotic thing I've ever seen.

Sheesh, I was just being sarcastic. You guys are brutal.

Haha, cute.
people need to lighten up.

It's hard to lighten up when the Savior of the world is made to look moronic. I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth but I think Mrs. Pilgrim was trying to point out that Dec. 25th was probably not Jesus' birthday. I also point out just like she did that Jesus was protrayed as an adult at His own birth. I wasn't even sure that it was supposed to be Jesus because the idea of an adult Jesus was so bizarre that it never crossed my mind until the very end of the video. I even thought that some of the beards would fall off. It was an embarassing mockery of the Biblical account of Jesus' birth. The Bible tells us that His birth was humble and holy, not a show from the contemporary "hood." It was just horrible. Nothing about the real nativiy deserves to be made light of like that so I for one won't lighten up about this. I'll say "sorry" in advance to the people who think I'm being judgmental. But I'm not really sorry.

Well, I'm guessing that these people who made this video are NOT Christians, so why would we expect them to respect Christmas or Jesus or anything else?

I think my apology to Joy for my tone got eaten by the system. For some reason, that day it flagged me as a spammer...

Mrs. Pilgrim,

I'm glad you posted about being flagged because it happenend to me too on a response to the "Hooters" post. I re-read my post and it didn't sound any different than other things I said on this site. I don't know how the system works but I was a little perplexed.
As to this, I still stand by what I posted before and agree with what Joy wrote afterward. People still amaze me when they think up more and more ways to bring Jesus down and make Him something He's not so that others "can relate" to Him and feel warm and cozy because "he would meet the people where they are." That's not being a Christian. It's an excuse to either make money, or to mock Christ and use Him as entertainment, or make Jesus our "pal". I'll probably get slammed for being judgmental on that one.
Jesus is Divine. We can only get a glimpse of Him through the Bible. We are only guessing about who He is if we try to go beyond that. And I don't think we could possibly guess correctly. Even if we did guess correctly, how would we know we were right? In the Bible God inspired people to write only what we could understand as humans. It's all about faith in Jeus Christ. Sorry about the similarity to Warren's blather in the last sentence.
And to think I was only going to write a line or two!
