Goddess Rosary
Who do you think is offering the 'Goddess Rosary'?
A. A Pagan Goddess Temple
B. A "Christian" Church
Answer: B - A "Christian" Church
This pagan female fertility goddess / rosary comes to us through Ebenezer Lutheran Church, San Francisco. This church bills itself as:
a diverse community, standing firmly within the Christian tradition in order to re-image the divine by claiming her feminine persona in thealogy, liturgy, church structure, art, language, practices, leadership, and acts of justice. Challenging the church’s restricted language of the past, we pay special attention to images and metaphors that attempt to embrace divine fullness and that offer a witness of holy nurture and inclusive justice, both to the church and to the world.
We haven't found any of this stuff in either the Old or New Testaments. So this must be the church of 'making stuff up and calling it Christianity'.

You know what's sad? I contacted the ELCA about this church and their response was basically to tell me to contact the Synod responsible its oversight and that if I had a complaint, to take it to that Synod as well. Their other comments were ones of "eh, oh well...to each their own. We don't care."

I haven't yet heard of a credible witness to the effect that Jesus was a girl...
I guess what they really mean is that everyone in the world has been too stupid to understand God. Now that they've come along to straighten us out, we may come to realize that the Wiccans are right; it's a Mother Goddess!
All hail Gaia!

This has been on the Internet for quite a while (as such things go).
Watched their video? Keep an eye out for the wax fat womyn idol. It looks like a clothed Venus of Willendorf.

That thing reminds me of this bracelet:

In my country theres like an epidemic of people wearing that thing...
The also have these statuettes and devotional books of the "Divine Child" as if Jesus never grew up...

not that i support this pagan rosary anyway:
the Old Testament in hebrew does use female language when speaking of the Holy Spirit only. not that the Spirit is female, but rather that it has characteristics similar to female design. but in the end it's all anthropomorphic terms.

I prefer 'the church of Asherah' Especially since this place was encouraging its members to make fertility idols for themselves. I mean, this sin is actually explicitly referred to in the Old Testament!

If I had any doubts that we are living in the endtimes, this has erased them. These people are given up to a reprobate mind.

Don't worry, Jennifer, people have been mixing the Christian and the pagan for, gosh, two millennia now. There's nothing new under the sun - including the conviction that "people these days are just awful, we must be living in the end times!"
