The song is called "We are the dancing generation".
Rather than looking like 'deep worship' this looks like The Lord of the Flies Youth Group.

Funny, this video offended me more than the other one and I can't exactly tell you why.
There isn't anything particularly offensive about it. But, I felt sick to my stomach watching it. It was as if I were seeing satanic revelry. I know that sounds strong.
I grew up in the church and there is no way that anyone in my generation would have called that worship or even called it church.
It was like a pig wearing pearls, it was like offerin a swine on the alter, everything about it was off. I am usually an objective guy but this hit me in a very negative subjective way.
I showed the video to my teenage son and he hated it. One minute into it he yelled at me to turn it off.
When I showed my youngest daughter the video she said, "Daddie why do those people call that church? God wants us to be good in church."
Maybe its the fact that they are out of control, maybe its the fact that it looks and feels like a acid party on Haight and Ashbury, maybe its because the lyrics of the song are not about god but about themselves.
This video disturbed me in a very primeaval way. I wish I could put my finger on it. But I can't. It just really didn't feel right at all.

Barry... uh.... no, it's not doubtful at all! That's like saying "oh... he's not a liar, he tells the truth SOME of the time!"

There is no more time for fence riders. Either you preach the bible or you don't. There is no middle ground.

how banal. i suppose this is the sort of thing that holds teenagers' interest, but it is banal and shallow nonetheless.
i know for a fact that this sort of 'tactic' breeds a meat-market mentality as well. i've seen it happen time and time again.

That was terrible...not in the spiritual way that others have mentioned, but I mean the music was terrible. As in not good. As in it sucked.

It's a great song but a terrible recording.
I think the conga line makes it look like these kids are more interested in having fun then actually singing to God.
I know that our youth pastor especially likes to reinforce with the youth that he doesn't care how great they can dance if they're not singing it and meaning it.
And it's just called "Dancing Generation."
I don't get the constant Lord of the Flies references. Well I can kinda see it, but I feel like I'm missing something still.

"JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED"
"THE RAIN FALLETH ON THE JUST AND THE UNJUST ALIKE"
This video saddens me to see that these kids are obviously acting out of hype and adrenalin but we should not get judgement on the issue. Truth hurts but TRUTH also heals.
God Bless

Turning church into a theater, while I dont think a church is apostate for using rock instruments, stuff like this is why I refuse to attend another youth convention that my former church participates in. I'm glad God saved me, long after claiming I was a Christian up to about 9 months before i was really converted(I guess it was by leaving the church that I sometime later, at first it was a bit of self-preservation until I listened to 10 shekels and a shirt and was confronted with the fact that i should believe on Jesus Christ even if I still go to Hell. That and Lane's vids on Calvinism helped me to understand a bit on God's sovereignty.) and thru youtube/blog ministries(and other types of ministry), like this one, God's shown me the error in the seeker-centered/purpose-driven movement. Thank You.
