Yep! Easter Sunday at South Hills Church was the day that Pastor Chris Sonksen decided to begin a new sermon series on ‘Dysfunctional Relationships’.
Apparently, Jesus’ resurrection wasn’t an important enough topic to bump Pastor Chris’ new sermon series back a week. Nope ‘Dysfunctional Relationships’ are much more important than our Lord’s resurrection from the grave. (The sermon graphic from their website is posted below)
We wonder what his Christmas sermon will be about. Maybe Pastor Chris could preach about balancing your check book, or how to pay off your credit cards, or how to lose weight after the holidays. Based on his Easter Sermon the last thing we would expect him to preach about is the birth of our Lord.
